Hospice Simcoe is a registered charitable organization providing non-medical support to individuals and families dealing with life threatening illness.
The In-Home Visitation Program includes companionship, simple comfort measures, shopping, light housekeeping, driving, caregiver support and follow up contact with family after death. Provides bereavement support for clients and for the community. Books, cassettes, and videos on palliative care and bereavement are available for loan.
Programs offered by Hospice Simcoe are the Bereavement Walking Group, Circle of Friends and Teen Buddy Programs.
Hospice Simcoe also offers seminars and presentations to the public, the professional community, area schools and services, as requested. Provides peer support as needed. Call for more information.
