Key Program [The] |
The Mental Health and Homelessness initiative was established to improve the quality of life for adults, living with serious mental health problems, who are homeless or at high risk of homelessness, by assisting them to access and maintain housing which is safe, affordable and satisfactory. The goal is to provide long term, flexible individualized support to participants with serious mental health problems so they may experience improved quality of life as they participate as full citizens in their community. The initiative is about providing service to those individuals who are either homeless or at high risk of being homeless and providing service to those who are not already receiving assistance from other social service organizations. Presentations offered to community resource groups/schools/service providers.
