We offer a wide range of services to promote healthy living, healthy growth and development, prevent illness and injury and control communicable diseases in the community. Services are available to individuals and groups of all ages in a variety of places. A referral is not needed for any service.
Public health units consist of a variety of staff disciplines found in our health unit:Medical Officer of Health, Public Health Nutritionist, Public Health Dietitians,Public Health Nurses, Public Health Inspectors,Dental Hygienists,Certified Dental Assistants, Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses.
