Beamax Youth Foundation is proud to present: #Notashamed: Mental Health Awareness: Breaking Through The Stigma With Facts, in partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association (Peel).
This 1-hour session opens the conversation about mental illness; offering statistics, stereotypes, and basic facts. In addition, general coping skills and resources available will be shared. This event will be followed with a Q&A session. FREE Refreshments will be served.

Keynote Speaker: Stacy-Ann Buchanan
Stacy-Ann BuchananStacy-Ann Buchanan is an actress and producer who ceuurently resides in Toronto. Back in 2011, while living in Vancouver, she was diagnosed with Anziety and shortly after developed a severe case of Suicidal Depression. Stacy-Ann will discuss her expereice with Mental Health within the Black Community, which continues to be swept under the rug, a stigma that has been creating false illusions and assumptions for a long time.
