Salles d’urgence en milieu hospitalier
Est-ce qu'il y aune urgence telle qu'une urgence médicale ou de santé mentale? Si les options moins intenses (par exemple, appeler une ligne de crise) ne sont pas possibles ou n'ont pas été utiles, il peut être utile de vous rendre au service des urgences de l'hôpital local. Les urgences de santé mentale typiques incluent:
* pensées de suicide au point où la personne a besoin d'une aide d'urgence pour l'empêcher de mettre fin à ses jours;
* épisode maniaque ou psychose lorsqu'une personne se comporte de manière irrationnelle et est incapable de fonctionner.

Le CHEO est un hôpital pédiatrique qui offre divers services de santé mentale aux enfants, aux adolescents et aux familles de 16 à 18 ans.

Pendant COVID, les services de santé mentale au CHEO ont changé.
Les services externes sont toujours offerts VIRTUELLEMENT, c.-à-d. Par téléphone ou par vidéoconférence (c.-à-d. Ontario Telemedicine Network ou Zoom).
